Bond Auto Management Team

Bond Auto Parts, Inc. is lead by a dynamic group of people, they just happen to be family members. Between these guys they have over 136 years of experience in the auto parts business. Each one of them has worked in every one of our stores and work on a daily basis to make Bond Auto Parts, Inc. more successful.

Mike        George        Greg        Craig        Bill        Scott

Here is the story of each one and how they got involved in the business.

Bill Bond - Chairman of the Board of Directors
Bill was 14 years old when his parents started Bond Auto . He got his feet wet right then by making deliveries on his bicycle after school and during the summers. Bill officially entered Bond Auto in 1964 just after graduating from the University of Vermont. In 1985 Bill was instrumental in choosing to be a part of the Auto Value buying group. Bill served many years on the Auto Value Board of Directors and consequently was awarded Auto Value "Man of the Year" by his peers in the year 2000. Today, Bill remains dedicated to creating steady company growth.

George Bond - Chief Executive Officer
George was only 3 years old when Bond Auto began. George remembers traveling as a kid with his father, Earl when he would go on the road selling. By about 7th grade George started working a little bit more by spending summers at the warehouse putting up freight, mowing lawns and painting among other odd jobs. Eventually he also began helping out in the stores. George offically entered Bond Auto in 1973 after graduating from Champlain College. He wore many hats from the beginning by managing the Barre store, supervising the other 8 stores and being on the road as a salesman during that 10 year period. George currently is in charge of the finances of Bond Auto and the day-to-day store operations.

Mike Pecue - Vice President of Training and LP

Mike was about 11 years old when he began helping out at the warehouse by sweeping floors and unloading trucks by hand. As he got older he worked in some of the stores during the summer and vividly remembers waiting on his first customer in 1977. Mike offically entered Bond Auto in 1983 after graduating from New Hampshire Vocational Technical College. He began by working in our Claremont and Newport, NH stores and as a salesman. In 1988 he moved to Barre to manage the warehouse and begin the Paint, Body and Equipment side of the business. In the year 2000, Mike was instrumental in getting our state-of-the-art New Distribution Center or warehouse started and off the ground. He is now in charge of employee training.  He both conducts training classes at headquarters and travels to each location. Mike also currently handles loss prevention for the company.

Greg Pecue - Vice President of Store Operations
Greg was a freshman in high school when he started helping out during the summer at his father's (Tom Pecue) store in Claremont, NH. Greg remembers spending time checking in stock orders which were done by hand and doing odd jobs around the store. Greg offically entered Bond Auto in 1984 after graduating from New Hampshire Vocational Technical College. He continued to work in the Claremont store and as a store coordinator for that area. In 1989, Greg moved to Newport, VT to manage the new store located up there. For 10 years Greg built that store into one of Bond Auto's best performers. In 1999 Greg became Vice President of Store Operations. Greg currently handles the operations of all the company's northern locations.

Scott Bond - Chief Operating Officer
Scott started working in South Barre in the early '80s. He remembers pumping oil from the 10,000 gallon tanks into 5 gallon buckets all day. He was chief oil pumper. He continued working summers during high school and college. Scott offically entered Bond Auto in 1990 after graduating from the University of New Hampshire. Scott currenlty is Vice President of Sales. He works on a continuous basis with our road salespeople and our Professional Installer customers. Among other things he builds programs which the installer buys to help maintain our 50%-50% customer base.

Craig spent the better part of his first year of full-time employment working in our Newport, VT store which is appropriately dubbed "University of Wholesale." He then became manager of the Essex Junction location and remained there for 4 years. Craig next handled the marketing for Bond Auto Parts.  In June of 1999 Craig was elected to the Marketing Board of Directors for Auto Value.
