Management Team

Bond Auto Parts is led by a dynamic group of people, they just happen to all be family members. Between these guys they have over 160 years of experience in the auto parts business. Each one of them has worked in the stores, doing all the different jobs. They work on a daily basis to make Bond Auto Parts as successful as possible and an industry leader.

Here is the story of each one and how they got involved in the business.

Scott Bond - President
Scott attended The University of New Hampshire in Durham, where he majored in Political Science and Business. Scott started working in our South Barre store in the early '80s. He continued working summers during high school and college. Scott officially entered Bond Auto in 1990. He currently oversees all company daily operations by communicating with Department Heads, Regional Managers, and Store Managers. He also works on a continuous basis with our road salespeople and our Professional Installer customers. Scott, his wife Carla, and their two sons live in Shelburne, Vermont. In his free time he enjoys golfing, watching his boys play sports, and spending time with his family.
Andy Bond - Chairman & Chief Financial Officer
Andy attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY where he majored in Accounting. As a youngster, Andy worked summers in many of the Bond Auto Parts stores. His most favorite location is of course the Barre Store. Andy officially started working at Bond Auto Parts in 1994. He now leads the Board of Directors, manages the company's budgets, conducts financial analysis, handles corporate operational strategies and tactical matters. Andy and his wife live in South Burlington, Vermont and in his free time enjoys watching sports, his pets and spending time with his family.
Craig Bond - President Auto Parts Warehouse (Bond Warehouse Division)
Craig started working in the family business in 1985. He has worked in every aspect of the company, including but not limited to the following: warehouse, parts delivery and counter sales, outside sales, store manager & marketing director. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. In 1998, Craig was nominated and elected to serve on the Marketing Board of Directors for Auto Value, a leading program distribution group. In 2000, Auto Value merged with All Pro / Bumper-to-Bumper & formed the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc. He again was elected & served on the Marketing Board of the Alliance for another 5 years. In 2005 Craig was elected & served a 3-year term on the AWDA Board of Governors. Also in 2005 he was elected & still serves on the Product Committee of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance. Craig is in charge of warehouse operations, inventory, and purchasing departments. Craig enjoys golfing, spending time with his family and cheering on the Red Sox and Patriots!
Christopher Bond - General Counsel; Vice President of Human Resources
Chris is a graduate of Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA (B.A., Politics). He received his J.D. from the University Of Connecticut School Of Law where he was Commentary Editor for the Connecticut Law Review. Following law school, Chris was a law clerk for the Hon. Christopher F. Droney, United States District Judge for the District of Connecticut. Prior to joining Bond Auto Parts, Chris was an Associate in the Stamford office of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, LLP, where he focused his practice on employment law. Chris is admitted to practice in Connecticut (2002), Vermont (2006), and New Hampshire (2010). Chris served his community as a member of the Barre Town Middle and Elementary School Board for parts of two terms (elected in 2007 and 2009) and as a member of the Regional Advisory Board to the Barre (VT) Technical Center. Now a resident of NH, Chris is an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
Mark Mast - Vice President of Marketing
Mark's professional career started in the hotel industry working at a few different hotels and resorts in Vermont. Mark joined the company in December of 1999 and worked in several different stores before becoming store manager in Montpelier. He has a BS in Marketing, which he received from Northeastern University in 1996. In 2004 Mark was promoted to the marketing department where he now works to promote the brand image of Bond Auto Parts through advertising, motorsports marketing, in-store promotions, the company websites and various social media outlets. Mark enjoys family time, hunting and playing golf.
Mike Pecue - Vice President of Training and Loss Prevention
Mike was about 11 years old when he began helping out at the warehouse by sweeping floors and unloading the trucks by hand. As he got older he worked in some of the stores during the summers and vividly remembers waiting on his first customer in 1977. Mike officially entered Bond Auto in 1983 after graduating from New Hampshire Vocational Technical College. He began by working in the Claremont and Newport, NH stores and also worked on the road as a salesman. He later moved to Barre to manage the warehouse and begin the Paint, Body and Equipment division of the business. He is now in charge of employee training and loss prevention. He conducts training classes at headquarters and travels to each location. Mike enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, flying planes and radio controlled planes, motorcycling, snowmobiling and skiing.
Greg Pecue - Vice President of Store Operations
Greg was a freshman in high school when he started helping out during the summer at his father's (Tom Pecue) store in Claremont, NH. Greg remembers spending time checking in stock orders which were done by hand and doing odd jobs around the store. Greg officially entered Bond Auto in 1984 after graduating from New Hampshire Vocational Technical College. He continued to work in the Claremont store and as a store coordinator for that area. In 1989, Greg moved to Newport, VT to manage the new store located in that area. For 10 years Greg built that store into one of Bond Auto's best performers. In the late ‘90s Greg became Vice President of Store Operations. Greg currently handles the operations of many of the company's northern locations.
Bill Bond - Vice President Strategic Planning
Bill was 14 years old when his parents started Bond Auto Parts. He got his feet wet right then by making deliveries on his bicycle after school and worked during the summers. Bill officially entered Bond Auto in 1964 just after graduating from the University of Vermont. His main function from the beginning had been overseeing the warehousing operations, product pricing and purchasing. In 1985 Bill was instrumental in choosing to be a part of the Auto Value buying group. Bill served 2 separate times on the Auto Value Board of Directors and consequently was awarded Auto Value "Man of the Year" by his peers in the year 2000. Today, Bill remains on the Board of Directors and is dedicated to creating and sustaining steady company growth. Bill enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, golfing, and the warm sunshine of Florida in the winters.
George Bond - Vice President Strategic Planning
George spent his entire career working at Bond Auto Parts. He was only 3 years old when the company was founded. Working summers and after school growing up he became a full time employee after graduation from Champlain College in 1973. During his early years with the company he was a counterman, outside salesmen and later store manager. After his parents retirements he took on a larger role in the company supervising store sales, operations and finance. Today he serves on the company board of directors and helps with new stores development and acquisitions. George and his wife Cindy enjoy visiting with their grandchildren, traveling, gardening and spending time at their home in North Carolina.
